President Trump said Wednesday the Justice Department would continue to argue that the Affordable Care Act should be overturned in a Supreme Court case that will be heard this fall, resisting advice from Attorney General Bill Barr to pursue a ruling over a narrower part of the legislation.

Facts

With the Supreme Court set to rule on a lawsuit challenging the ACA in the fall, Trump is standing firm in his commitment to getting the law overturned.

The lawsuit, brought by a group of Republican state attorneys general, argues that the health law was invalidated when Congress eliminated the law’s tax penalty for people who failed to attain health insurance coverage.

He added, “Obamacare, we run it really well… it’s still lousy health care.”

Trump told White House reporters “we want to terminate health care under Obamacare and replace it,” according to Politico reporter Alice Ollstein.

A Kaiser Foundation tracking poll in April seems to confirm those fears, with 50% of Americans saying they approve of the ACA while 39% say they disapprove.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, Trump’s presumptive Democratic opponent, issued a statement on Wednesday denouncing the lawsuit. “Trump has decided he’d rather destroy President Obama’s legacy than protect the health care of millions upon millions of Americans,” he wrote in a Medium post.

Airbnb is cutting nearly 25 percent of its workforce in a round of layoffs, as announced in a letter to employees from CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky on Tuesday. The company’s business has been “hit hard” in recent months, with Chesky already projecting this year to generate less than half of the revenue from 2019.

While these actions were necessary, it became clear that we would have to go further when we faced two hard truths:

Chesky statement:

1. We don’t know exactly when travel will return.
2. When travel does return, it will look different.

Employees are slated to receive 14 weeks base pay, and the company will cover health insurance for a limited time pending each respective country’s healthcare regulations. Airbnb has also launched various resources to assist individuals with finding their next role, including an “Alumni Talent Directory,” “Alumni Placement Team,” four months of career and job placement services, and more.

Audi‘s RSQ8 is not short of power, but that hasn’t stopped German tuning company MANHART from delivering the super-limited MANHART RQ 900.

MANHART has taken the RSQ8, which is equipped with a 4.0 liter V8 bi-turbo engine originally producing 592 BHP, and has given it a total power output of 900 HP and 1080 Nm of torque.

Rounding out the list of upgrades is an improved leather interior with golden or red accents and an optional decal kit. Quebec’s Ministry of Transport now “strongly recommends” that all public transit users wear masks. In a statement, the Ministry of Transport, the CNESST, and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) outlined their recommendations to the public and reassured everyone that public transit is still safe to use. The STM is also “[looking] into measuresthat could be implemented to protect customers and employees post lockdown.”

The Ministry and its partners outlined the following recommendations that they say all public transit users should follow when on the bus, metro, or train:

• “keep your distance;
• “wear a face covering on buses and subway cars as well as in places where physical distancing is not always possible;
• “cover your mouth and nose with your elbow when sneezing and wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds;
• “don’t take public transit if you have symptoms associated with COVID-19.”

The Ministry also ask that employers allow employees to work from home and offer flexible schedules whenever possible to mitigate public transit crowding at rush hours.

Young Thug and Chris Brown have released their highly-anticipated joint mixtape, Slime & B. The project, released on Breezy’s 31st birthday, follows a slew of collaborative singles the two have released over the years, including Brown’s 2016 tracks “Dat Night” and “Wrist (Remix)” as well as 2017’s “High End.”

On the 13-track project, Thugger and Breezy go back-to-back on the various songs, displaying some immaculate chemistry as they exchange verses. Thug continues to highlight why he’s one of trap music’s pioneers, with Brown delivering his unmistakably-sultry R&B vocals alongside.
