According to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), French Montana‘s “Pop That” single featuring Lil Wayne, Drake and Rick Ross was officially certified double Platinum earlier this month on May 8th.
This means that the Lee On The Beats-produced collaboration, which appeared Montana‘s Excuse My French album, has sold and been streamed over 2,000,000 times since it was first released back in the summer of 2012.
Congratulations to everyone involved with “Pop That” on this amazing achievement. You can read the lyrics here.

Supreme and The North Face have linked up for another round of outerwear and accessories this Spring 2020.

Arriving in three colors of black, pink camo and camel, the collaborative Spring 2020 Drop 2 spotlights a cargo range that includes a jacket, vest and zip-off belted pants that can transform into shorts if the occasion calls for it — all of which feature water resistant nylon.
The other standout item here is the charity One World Tee. Coming in either black or white, the front of the T-shirt showcases a graphic of the Earth with text “Supreme/The North Face, One World One Purpose, 2020” written below.

The Supreme x The North Face Spring 2020 Drop 2 will be available online only on May 21 for the rest of the world save Japan, which will see and online and in-store (except in Daikanyama) release on May 23.

Update – Entertainment

Throughout the show, Wayne paid tribute to Andre Harrell and Betty Wright, who both sadly passed away recently. He also mentioned Dana White will be a special guest on next week’s episode after he couldn’t make it this week, as well as that his top 5 favorite artists right now are: Lil Wayne, Tunechi, Weezy, Dwayne Michael Carter, and Fat Joe.
This week were Fat Joe, Lil Durk, Jamie Foxx, and Henry Cejudo – who says he is a big fan of Mr. Carter‘s music. Tunechi revealed that he will be on Joey Crack‘s podcast later this week, why Robin Thicke apologized to his mother Cita at Super Bowl, he saw Kevin Hart at a strip club on his own, and much more. Jamie also had so much praise for Weezy (and I mean a lot) plus shared stories of them at LIV in Miami and on “The Masked Singer“!

Update – Hip Pop Rumour
A 28-year-old woman, La’Teasha Macer, born in Cambridge, Maryland, claims to be the daughter of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. Macer alleges her mother met the Roc Nation boss, born Sean Carter, in Cambridge where the two were introduced by Macer’s aunt, according to BOSSIP.

Macer asserts she was the product of a relationship that centered around her mother and Carter’s friendly relationship, which included many nights of drinking, smoking, card playing and more.
Macer is now making major noise on social media, beginning with her handle, @jayzfirstdaughter. The page, which has 16 posts as of press time (something of a Jay-Z shrine), includes close to 4K followers while following just one — @ancestry.
Is Macer a clout chaser or does she have a real case?

Apple is releasing two new Pride Edition Sport Bands to celebrate Pride month.
This year’s band offering is joined for the first time by a new Apple Watch Nike Pride Edition Sport Band. As Pride goes virtual this year due to COVID-19 lockdowns and social distancing measures, Apple and Nike are helping users celebrate Pride in their own lives by supporting worldwide LGBTQ organizations doing vital advocacy and community-building, like GLSEN, PFLAG and The Trevor Project.

Both sport bands will pair with matching Pride Watch faces that are coming soon as a part of watchOS’s 6.2.5 update, such as a soft-hued rainbow display and a black background with rainbow-colored dots.
“Pride season is a time where it feels safer to be authentic. It’s the ideal world where you’re able to be safe, you’re able to be yourself, and you’re able to be loud,” said Elle Smith, named Student Advocate of the Year by GLSEN.
Available from $40 to $49 USD, the Pride Edition watch bands are available to purchase now on Apple’s website.
