Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 4 “Metallic” pack is a quartet of boldly-accented styles, the latest of which to appear is the striking “Metallic Green.”

This crisp Air Jordan may appear simple upon first glance, but it’s packed full of Jumpman history: the color scheme draws inspiration from the OG Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Green,” and the overall look is adjacent to 2004’s popular AJ4 “Classic Green,” albeit in chromed-out style.

Further dashes of green appear on the fabric tongue badge, the tongue’s trim and the insoles. Down below, a contrasting green Air Max unit is nestled into the white EVA foam midsole, and two-tone outsoles finalize the style.

Retailing for $190 USD, the Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Green” is scheduled for a May 13 release in the East via Nike SNKRS China.

The cryptocurrency bitcoin will undergo a highly anticipated ‘halving’ event which occurs every four years to reduce the reward miners receive for mining new coins and help control inflation.

Monday’s halving—the third in bitcoin’s history—will cut the reward miners receive from 12.5 bitcoin to 6.25 bitcoin per block.

New blocks are mined by computers that solve complex math problems; right now, it takes about 10 minutes to mine a new block.

It’s estimated that because of built-in safeguards like halving events, which prevent too many blocks from being mined too quickly, all available bitcoin won’t be mined until 2140.

There is a limit on bitcoins that can be mined. right now, there are about 18.6 in circulation meaning there are less than 3 million remaining bitcoin to be mined.

This price of one bitcoin is about $8,868; it began the year hovering around $7,000 before surging above $10,000 in February and plunging below $5,000 in March.

This event is to have a dramatic impact on Bitcoin’s price. Bitcoin’s previous two halvings (in 2012 and 2016) had a major long-term impact on the price of the digital asset.

The Palace has just released a closer look at all the jackets that are part of its upcoming Summer 2020 drop. This comes just after showing its upcoming season’s lookbook, shot by photographer Lewis Khan and modeled by Lucien Clarke and Rory Milanes.

Palace has put together a selection of light outerwear options perfect for cooler days and brisk nights. An interesting focus for the season are packable styles which include the Das a Wrap rain jacket, Lighterr shell jacket and a slightly padded Pertex Jacket.

Finishing up Palace’s selection of Summer 2020 outerwear is the duo of Fruity Jackets that features a distinct collage full print accented by unique chest pockets and a clean classic work jacket construction.

Palace’s Summer 2020 collection is set for an online-only global release starting May 15, 11 a.m. EDT at the brand’s official webstore, and in Japan and China May 16, 11 a.m. JST/CST on its Japan webstore and its “Palace_Skateboards” WeChat store respectively.

The gradual reopening of Quebec continues on Monday, May 11. Most notably, preschools, elementary schools, and daycares outside of the Montreal area (CMM) are set to welcome students back for the first time since they closed in March. Mining and manufacturing enterprises will also resume with some restrictions.

While the government had originally projected that retail in Montreal would open on May 11, Premier Legault twice postponed that date, first to May 18 and then to May 25.

Still, the Premier has made clear that the new date will only hold if the situation improves in the metropolis and its suburbs.

“So, if tomorrow morning there were an increase in the spread of the virus in greater Montreal, we would not have all the staff […] to deal with this increase.”

Elementary schools and daycares are opening outside of the 82 municipalities of the Montreal metropolitan community (CMM), though attendance is not mandatory.

Teachers, students, and parents will have to follow strict rules to safeguard everyone’s health.
